Pseudacris triseriata: Pictured to the left is the egg left of a Western Chorus Frog. Their life cycle involves living for about a year and breeding in the spring. Females put down 100 eggs near vegetation in clumps. Depending on water temperature the eggs can hatch in 18 days. Around 90 days later the eggs hatch into tadpoles.

This frog is relatively small, has a very granular texture, it has three unique dark lines on its back, males have a vocal sac that will turn yellow when expressed, and this a very hidden species. ("Western Chorus Frog, "2011)
